Bread Machine Recipe: Honey Whole Wheat Bread

Tonight may have been the best bread machine loaf we've had.  I've tweaked this recipe half a dozen times now, and this was the best so far.  We had it warm and with a little butter.  The slight sweetness from the honey and faint nuttiness from the whole wheat make for a delicious combo.

Honey Whole Wheat Bread for Bread Machine

Makes: 1 lb loaf

1 cup warm water (110 degrees)
1/4 c melted butter
2 T honey
1 tsp sea salt
1 1/2 cups bread flour
1 1/2 cups white whole wheat flour
4 tsp vital wheat gluten
1 1/2 tsp bread machine yeast

Add ingredients to machine according to manufacturer's recommendations.  For mine, I put all the liquid ingredients and the salt on bottom.  Then, I add the flours and vital wheat gluten.  Last, I make a well in the flour and add the yeast (making sure it does not touch the liquid).  My loaf took about 3 hours and 10 minutes on the rapid setting.
