Annie's Bunny Grahams: Our entire family loves these graham crackers (all the different flavors)! This is my go-to-dessert and sometimes-snack for Jack. Here are their promises: Made with Organic Wheat Flour (No GMOs), Made with Organic Cane Juice , Excellent Source of Calcium (20% of Daily Value), NO Refined Sugars, NO Hydrogenated Oils, 0 grams Trans Fat, 0 grams Saturated Fat. They are available at Target, Wal-mart, and Hyvee around here.
Hodgson Mills Whole Wheat Macaroni and Cheese: I don't know about your kids, but mine LOVE Mac and Cheese. But, what the heck is in Kraft Mac and Cheese and why is it bright orange/yellow? There are no worries about preservatives or artifical colors or flavors in this brand. Plus, there is the added benefit of fiber and nutrients from the whole grain pasta. It took a little getting used to (because of the white color mainly), but my kids now LOVE this brand. We (the parents) eat it willingly, as well.
Tribe All Natural Hummus: I could eat this stuff by the spoonful (as could my 1-year-old)! But, it's also great with/on raw veggies (a regular side dish at lunch or dinner), whole wheat pita chips, TLC crackers, and sandwiches. Plus, hummus is a great source of healthy fats and protein. I'll share a few more of our favorite convenience health food finds tomorrow.
